Development strategies as catalysts for provision of the RDM services in the South African higher education institutions

A strategy in this paper was viewed as a plan of action for achieving the mission and vision an organisation. This presents preliminary findings larger study which aimed to determine strategies research data management (RDM) at selected universities KwaZulu-Natal. The current used community capability maturity model framework (CCMF) digital curation centre (DCC) lifecycle theoretical support RDM service provision with specific reference University Zululand. interpretive paradigm, following qualitative approach through single case study, used.
